PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Two men armed with handguns are on the loose after they robbed a Phoenix-area credit union Wednesday morning, police said.

The suspects had their faces covered, and wore all black clothing when they entered Arizona State Credit Union in the area of 6500 W. Greenway Parkway at around 10:30 a.m., said Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson.

No shots were fired, and the gunmen fled with an undetermined amount of money in a red 2000 GMC Jimmy. Witnesses were not able to get a license plate number. A third person was driving the vehicle, police said.

One of the men is described as between 6' and 6'2" tall, and weighing between 200 to 250 pounds.

The other suspect was about 5'5" tall and weighing 150 pounds. Both men were about 25 years old.

People with any information about the holdup are asked to call the Phoenix Police Department Violent Crimes Bureau at 602-262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish.
