Six people were injured in a crash involving a mini-van and tractor-trailer Friday along Interstate 65 in Sumner County.
The wreck occurred around 11:30 a.m. near mile marker 104 north of Millersville and prompted authorities to close the southbound and northbound lanes.
Officials said one person was critically hurt, and five others were taken to the hospital. Word on their conditions has not been released.
At 12:40 p.m., there was an estimated five-mile backup at the scene.
The scene was cleared by 2 p.m., according the Tennessee Department of Transportation, but officials say it could take until at least 4 p.m. for the backed up traffic to return to normal.
