A Humphreys County business owner says a thief made off with his wrecker truck and equipment worth more than a quarter-million dollars.
"They tried to steal the roll back over here to the side of us and didn't have any luck, so he got in this truck and found a key we have hidden it," said Greg Barnett, owner of Barnetts' Wrecker Service.
Surveillance video shows the thief moving from truck to truck early Wednesday until he found a spare key and drove off with a big piece of Barnett's equipment.
Barnett said he doesn't know where someone would hide the truck because it's more than 40 feet long and weighs more than 55,000 pounds, but he hopes to see it soon.
"It's just a huge black truck. It has 'Barnett's' painted all over it, so if you see this truck, please call the police," Barnett said.
Barnett said the business probably won't hide spare keys in the vehicles anymore.
