Police say they had to chase a Thompson's Station man through two counties after he allegedly attacked a family member with a baseball bat.
Williamson County investigators say 20-year-old Matthew King attacked a relative Tuesday night.
A deputy then spotted King driving on Leiper's Creek Road at speeds of 75 mph, but he wouldn't stop.
Deputies finally used a spike strip on Highway 7 in Maury County, which caused King to run off the road.
King is charged with aggravated assault and evading arrest. He's being held on $300,00 bond.
