Dan Kennedy joined WRCB as a General Assignment Reporter in 2013 after working as a weekday general assignment and investigative reporter for KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in mid-Missouri.
Dan is no stranger to Channel 3. He completed a summer internship in the newsroom during college after growing up as a fan of the station. He began honing his broadcast skills in the basement of his home where he built a replica of the WRCB set.
Dan is a graduate of The Baylor School in Chattanooga where he served as senior class president. After high school he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a Minor in Business from The University of Missouri where he earned a spot on the Dean's List.
At KOMU-TV, Dan broke the story of price gouging at a local four star hotel. After the story aired, the state attorney general and a senator got involved and pressured the hotel into issuing refunds to customers. In March 2013, he received a Hearst Award for his investigation.
Dan has two younger bothers. Away from the television station, he enjoys playing golf, swimming and running.
