NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The current queen of reality TV, Kellie Pickler is back in the recording studio. The country star turned dancing queen returned to the Grand Ole Opry this week following her win on Dancing with the Stars.

"I went into it with a positive attitude," Pickler said.

The 26-year-old former American Idol contestant now calls Music City home, and after her performance Tuesday at the Opry House, fans mimicked the Dancing with the Stars judges by holding up paddles showing a perfect score.

"I always wanted to be a resident of Nashville, always wanted to call this home," Pickler said.

For her success in music and on television, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau even presented Pickler with a key to the city.

For now, she's recording a new country album in Nashville, but she said she hasn't completely hung up her dancing shoes.

"If the opportunity comes along, absolutely. If it's the right thing for me, then I would love to do Broadway," she said.
