(RNN) - It's the music festival you don't have to camp in a tent or even leave your house to attend.
MTV, in a rare showcasing of actual music, will stream the Live Music Day festival, 24 hours of continuous music. And you can watch from the comfort of your favorite chair. In all, 50 bands and artists, including Gavin DeGraw, Hanson, Kate Nash and Johnnyswim, will perform.
It's part of the O Music Awards, MTV's online awards celebrating digital music. The show starts at 7 p.m. EST on June 19. In the meantime, you can vote for a number of awards at www.omusicawards.com.
Combine the alt-punk sound of Paramore, the emo guitar licks of Saosin, add some teenage angst and throw them into a blender and you get Courage My Love, a three-piece band from Canada ready to break through the border and on to the American music scene.
With twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn and Phoenix Arn-Horn, both 19, on guitar and drums and Brandon Lockwood on bass, the band is already a two-time alum of the Warped Tour and are doing it again in 2013.
Courage My Love's new album, The Becoming, dropped Tuesday. Check out their latest video for You Don't Know How.
Mumford & Sons bassist suffers blood clot, undergoes emergency surgery
On Tuesday, Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane suffered a blood clot and underwent emergency brain surgery, forcing the band to cancel three concerts.
"Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment," the band wrote in a note on their website. "The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation."
They went on to say that Dwane is receiving excellent care, and they expect him to recover quickly.
For now, the band has only canceled shows in Dallas, Woodlands, TX, and New Orleans.
There are no plans to cancel any other shows on their current tour.
Free music from Seabird
If you like Coldplay, The Fray and One Republic, you'll love the sounds of indie rock band Seabird.
Seabird acquired national attention with their 2008 debut album 'Til We See the Shore. They have also been featured in several TV shows including Grey's Anatomy, NUMB3RS and Pushing Daisies.
Seabird fuses an alternative sound with piano rock and creates emotionally bare lyrics that are full of life lessons.
"You always want your friends to be there for you, and in the same way, we want our music to be there with whatever you need, be it inspiration, laughter or even tears," lead singer Aaron Morgan said about their music. "It's our goal to make our music as reliable as a good friend."
NoiseTrade is currently featuring 11 songs from all three of Seabird's albums. The download includes three tracks from their newest album Troubled Days, which will be released July 16. It also includes two tracks that are NoiseTrade exclusives.
