Lebanon police arrest man suspected in 1997 Nashville death

LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -

Lebanon police on Friday night arrested a suspect accused of killing a man in Nashville 16 years ago.

Julian Dubois Clemmons, 37, is accused of killing Daniel Lynn Peak on Forest Ridge Way in Hermitage on March 15, 1997.

Peak, who was 18 when he was killed, was involved in a drug dispute when Clemmons shot him, said police.

Lebanon police arrested Clemmons at a residence on Toshiba Drive in Wilson County and later turned him over to Metro officers. Clemmons is being held on $300,000 bond.
