Man wearing pajamas, Budweiser hat robs Hermitage bank

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police and the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force are investigating a bank robbery Thursday afternoon in the Hermitage area.

The Pinnacle Financial Bank at 4715 Andrew Jackson Parkway was reportedly robbed about 4 p.m. when the suspect approached a teller and implied that he had a weapon, police said.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his early 30s. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a light-colored T-shirt, dark pajama bottoms and a Budweiser ball cap, and he covered his face with a handkerchief.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the surveillance photo is asked to call the FBI at 232-7500 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
