2 hurt when motorcycle crashes into deer

DICKSON, TN (WSMV) -

Two people had to be taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center Wednesday night when their motorcycle crashed into a deer in Dickson County.

The wreck happened on Sylvia Road around 9 p.m.

The motorcycle was traveling east when a deer crossed its path, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The driver, Alan Faircloth, 28, of Vanleer, TN, was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt. His passenger, Alyssa Faircloth, 24, also from Vanleer, was taken by ambulance.

Their conditions are unknown.
