Woman pleads guilty to leaving sister decomposing in chair

LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

A Lawrenceburg woman has pleaded guilty to leaving her sister decomposing in a chair.

Vickie Holdcraft left her sister, Priscilla Frieberger, alive and decomposing in a chair for three weeks in September and October of 2011. Frieberger later died of pneumonia and a blood infection.

Eagle 99.3 reports that Holdcraft pleaded guilty in Dearborn County Superior Court to a charge of neglect of a dependant, a Class D felony. As part of a plea agreement, charges of reckless homicide and perjury were dismissed.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 11.
