The man accused of killing his wife, a Brentwood orthodontist, will get more time to prepare for his preliminary hearing.
On Wednesday, Randolph Maidens signed a waiver to push back his next court date. Along with his attorney, Maidens appeared at the brief hearing.
Maidens is charged with criminal homicide after his wife was found dead at their home in the exclusive Governors Club community.
Police found Rachel Maidens' body with a fatal gunshot wound during a welfare check.
Randolph Maidens's next court appearance will be May 23.
