Mt. Juliet police search for suspected car burglars

Police in Mt. Juliet said they are searching for a man and woman suspected of breaking into a car and stealing credit cards from the vehicle.

According to Sgt. Tyler Chandler, the couple is accused of breaking into the unlocked car on Sydney Terrace on April 5. Chandler said besides the credit cards, the couple allegedly stole a GPS.

Shortly after burglarizing the car, Chandler said the man and woman used the stolen credit cards at a Mapco gas station at 585 Stewarts Ferry Pike in Nashville.

Chandler said they were seen leaving the gas station in a white or silver four-door car with damage to the passenger side headlight area.
