BOWLING GREEN, KY (WSMV) -

A crash earlier this month has claimed the life of a Bowling Green, KY, man.

Antonio Huggins, 18, had been hospitalized after a wreck on April 17 but died of his injuries on Sunday.

On April 17, the Warren County, KY, Sheriff's office responded to a single vehicle wreck in the 700 block of Hammett Hill Road.

When they arrived, they found a green 2001 Mercury had struck a tree.

The driver, Huggins, was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. A passenger, Devin King, 19, was injured but survived the wreck.

Police are investigating to see if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
