A woman who was pulled from the window of her burning home was rushed to the hospital Saturday afternoon, according to emergency crews in Clarksville.
Emergency Management Agency Director Jerry Buchanan told the Leaf Chronicle that the fire originated in the bedroom of a mobile home on Highway 48.
Buchanan said the woman suffered smoke inhalation and was rushed to Gateway Medical Center. Her name and condition have not been released.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
Fire officials said the entire home suffered smoke damage but the most fire damage was limited to the bedroom.
