Interstate 24 eastbound reopened Saturday at noon after being closed nearly 10 hours for an overturned semi in Grundy County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Officials said the wreck happened around 2 a.m. near the Pelham/Winchester exit around mile marker 127.
Eastbound traffic was affected with the roadway closed. The lanes were reopened at noon Saturday, according to the THP.
Westbound traffic was not affected with no delays, according to the THP.
The semi was carrying used motor oil and had to be offloaded before it was moved, according to THP officials.
