FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

Middle Tennesseans will show their support for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings with a pair of events on Friday night.

The city of Franklin will hold a "Unite for Boston" solidarity walk at 7 p.m. that will begin at Franklin Square, go to Pinkerton Park and then return to the square. Organizers said they will collect donations for victims.

In Murfreesboro, a candlelight vigil is planned for the Boston victims. The First Cumberland Presbyterian Church will hold the event at 8 p.m.

Those who would like to participate should meet on the front lawn of the church on East Main Street.
