Preds' Rinne looks back on tough season in net

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne has never seemed to lose his cool despite having, by his standards, a rough season in net.

Rinne was 15th in the league in goals allowed per game, and he's started more games between the pipes this season than anyone in the NHL.

"You can't feel sorry for yourself, but sometimes you do. It's been weird. You try to work so hard every day, and you feel like you just don't get the results. It's really frustrating sometimes," he said.

Rinne also tied for the league lead in overtime losses by a goalie; however, much of that can be attributed to the Preds' lack of offense this season.
