Southern Women's Show heads into final day Sunday

Posted: Updated:

Thousands of visitors are expected this weekend at the 27th annual Southern Women's Show, which runs through Sunday at the Nashville Convention Center.

The event covers the entire convention center with fashion shows, celebrity appearances, shopping booths and delicious food.

Attendees will also be able to get $100 in free health screenings, and exhibitors are going to have plenty of additional giveaways.

Snowbird, along with many of Channel 4's on-air folks, will be on hand each day to meet fans, and you can even try out your weathercasting skills in front of the green screen!

The celebrity cooking stage gives attendees some fun, easy and inexpensive cooking ideas they can try at home. Be sure to see Aimee Fortney on stage Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

And one of the more popular events of the weekend has been the Firefighter Fashion Show, which raises money for a couple great causes: Camp Phoenix and the Box 55 Association.

Camp Phoenix provides a fun summer experience for children who have survived burn injuries, and the Box 55 Association offers support to injured Nashville firefighters.

You have one more chance to catch the firefighters in action as they hit the stage Sunday at 4 p.m.
