A crash in Warren County involving a van and a semi has claimed the life of a Rock Island area man.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol tell us the crash happened early Sunday morning on US Highway 70 at the intersection of State Highway 136.
THP says Daniel Caldwell, 32 was headed northbound on State Highway 136 and failed to stop at a stop sign.
A semi which was hauling nursery trees was headed eastbound on US Highway 70 and collided with Caldwell's van.
Caldwell was pronounced dead. The driver of the semi was not injured.
THP says no alcohol or drugs were found to be related to the crash.
No citations were issued.
