HOPKINSVILLE, KY (WSMV) -

A man dressed in Army fatigues allegedly robbed a Radio Shack near Fort Campbell Army post on Tuesday night, police said.

The robbery occurred around 6:45 p.m. in Christian County, about five miles from the post.

Police aren't sure if the alleged robber was only dressed like a soldier or if he actually is a member of the military.

Investigators said the robber, dressed in Army fatigues and a green toboggan, pulled a gun on the cashier and demanded money.

Police said the man got away with some money, but they won't say how much.

The alleged robber is a white man that appears to be in his mid-20s or early 30s, about 5'10", 180 lbs. and was wearing sunglasses and a backpack.

The Hopkinsville police chief said he believes the robber was only posing as a soldier, but they are exploring all possibilities.
