FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman, her husband and her brother are dead after a shooting early Sunday at a home in Lincoln County, in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

According to Sheriff Murray Blackwelder, deputies were dispatched to the home in the Windwood subdivision around 2 a.m.

When the deputies arrived, they said they found a couple who stated they were in the house when a domestic argument got violent and they heard gunshots in the bedroom.

The couple told police they ran from the home and then heard several more gunshots, Blackwelder said.

Deputies entered the home and found the bodies of two men and a woman in the bedroom.

The bodies were sent to the state medical examiner's office for autopsy and positive investigation, Blackwelder said.

The deceased are believed to be Jeff Faulkner, 50, his wife Julaine Faulkner, 38, and her brother, Ryan Oetken, 33.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
