Easter SWAT Standoff ends peacefully

A police standoff in a Nashville neighborhood came to a peaceful end Sunday morning.

Metro police were called to a home on 4th Ave. North just after 4 a.m.  About two hours later, the SWAT team arrived at the scene.

Over a loud speaker, officers could be heard urging someone inside to come out and surrender.

The standoff ended just before 8 a.m. after officers went inside the home.

Sources with knowledge of the situation tell Channel 4 News that officers took someone into custody.
