Harpeth High School's Band of Blue honored at competition

KINGSTON SPRINGS, TN (WSMV) -

Harpeth High School's Band of Blue received top honors at a regional competition in Clarksville Saturday.

The band received first place in the percussion scholastic open of the SEGC Winter Showcase at Clarksville High School.

The band is holding their annual "Cabin Fever" fundraiser Saturday, March 23, to help raise money for uniforms and other expenses.

The fundraiser will be held at Harpeth High School and begins at 5 p.m.

There will be a barbecue dinner, a silent auction as well as live music from Julie Roberts, John Stone and E. G. and The Spontaneous Mountain Boys.
