NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
For the first time since 1989, Middle Tennessee State University will play in the NCAA tournament.
The Blue Raiders (28-5) will face Saint Mary's in a play-in game Tuesday night in Dayton, OH. The winner of that game will play Memphis on Thursday.
Middle Tennessee was upset by Florida International 61-57 in the
Sun Belt title game, ending the nation's longest active winning streak
at 17 games. The Blue Raiders won their conference's regular season title.
Belmont (26-6), Ohio Valley Conference champions, will take on Arizona on Thursday in Salt Lake City.
Western Kentucky University (20-15), who won the Sun Belt, will play Kansas in Kansas City on Friday.
