Several law enforcement agencies responded to reports of a meth lab Wednesday morning at a barn in rural Wilson County.

Detectives and agents allegedly found 12 cooking pots, empty packages of pseudoephedrine and several materials used in the manufacture of meth in the barn about 11 a.m. along Cooks Road, near Lebanon Road, northeast of Mount Juliet.

Carroll Cook, 49, is charged with initiating the process to manufacture meth and meth possession. Police said they will also seek a Davidson County warrant charging the sale of meth.

A small amount of meth and some smoking paraphernalia was allegedly found inside Cook's home.

Metro Nashville police, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Wilson County Sheriff's Office, Wilson County Office of Emergency Management and the Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force were investigating.
