A woman has died from her injuries after a crash Friday afternoon in Murfreesboro.
At 1 p.m., officers responded to a crash which occurred at the intersection of Medical Center Parkway and Grantland Avenue involving two vehicles.
One of the drivers, Bonnie Murry, 51, of Auburntown, TN, was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville via LifeFlight but died Saturday afternoon. The other driver, Larry Parker of Murfreesboro, was uninjured, said police.
Police said Murry's Cadillac Deville was traveling west on Medical Center Parkway in the outside lane of traffic.
A Ford F250 truck driven by Parker was also heading west in the inside lane of traffic, just behind Murry.
As Murry's vehicle approached the area of Grantland Avenue, it began to slow as if it were going to make a right turn.
At the same time, Parker's truck began to move over to the inside lane. Police said Murry began to enter Grantland Avenue and then made a sudden turn to the left.
Murry's car was then struck on the driver's side front door by Parker's truck.
Police said they do not anticipate filing any criminal charges in the crash.
