Teenage girl shot in the leg

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police said a 17-year-old girl was shot in the leg Friday morning on Charlie Place.

Investigators said they know the shooter's identity but have not released any names of potential suspects.

The victim was sent to a hospital and is expected to recover.

Police also did not comment on a motive for the shooting.
