BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - A southern Kentucky woman has entered a guilty plea stemming from accusations that she left 19 children alone in a filthy, hot house for several days last summer.
Originally, 32-year-old Jackie Farah of Bowling Green was charged with 14 counts of first-degree criminal abuse and five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Warren County prosecutor Chris Cohron told The Daily News (http://bit.ly/12tGP5H) that Farah entered a guilty plea on Monday to four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment. As part of the deal, the other charges were dismissed.
Cohron said he recommended a probated sentence of 8 years if Farah abides by conditions set by Warren County Family Court.
The children, who were between the ages of 7 months and 16 years old last summer, remain in state custody.
