NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A 59-year-old woman died in a crash Friday morning in the Bellshire area of north Nashville.
Brenda Katherine Woodard, of Nashville, was killed when her 2001 Toyota Camry crashed into a ditch and struck a concrete drainage culvert about 8:40 a.m. on Brick Church Pike near Masonwood Drive.
Woodard was not wearing a seatbelt, police said, and investigators are still working to determine why the car ran off the road. Speed and road conditions don't appear to be a factor in the wreck.
