NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Nashville cab driver said he was attacked by a group of passengers who refused to pay their fare.
The cabbie told police he dropped the passengers off at Millwood Drive, and they tried to leave without paying.
The driver said he got out of his cab and tried to confront the people over their fare.
Police said one of the attackers hit the cabbie in the head with a pistol, and another took his keys.
Investigators said the assailants then ran off.
The cab driver was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police are looking for the attackers.
