NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police said they have busted a suspected drug ring in north Nashville.

Police said they went to investigate an apartment on Buena Vista Pike.

When they arrived, investigators said after knocking on the door they heard a toilet flushing, and no one would answer the door.

Police made an entry into the apartment and found seven people, none of whom lived there.

Investigators said they found 66 grams of marijuana, and they believe the group is involved in selling drugs.

Police said everyone in the apartment, including a 17-year-old girl, admitted to smoking marijuana, but none admitted to selling it.

Nkrumah Ransom, Deonte Patton, Frederick Gross, Ebonni Griffin and Timothy Endsley were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Sharronda Woods was charged for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
