An 18-year-old wanted for shooting a man 15 times in Georgia was apprehended by Rutherford County deputies and U.S. Marshals at a motel in Murfreesboro, said Sheriff Robert Arnold.
According to detectives, Farraknad Mohammed Price, of Atlanta, was wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a felony with a firearm.
Price was accused of shooting Orentheal Childs back on Feb. 15 in Atlanta, according to arrest warrants.
Investigators said Price was a member of the Folk Nation gang.
The marshals received information Price was staying at Knight's Inn on South Church Street, police said.
A team of marshals and deputies apprehended Price from the motel and transported him to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held for Atlanta police.
Sheriff's deputies have charged Price with being a fugitive from justice.
