Pedestrian struck in south Nashville

A homeless man was struck by a vehicle in south Nashville on Friday morning.

The incident occurred at 4099 Nolensville Pike near Harding Place around 6 a.m.

The victim, a 57-year-old homeless man, was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in stable condition.

The driver said he didn't see the man before hitting him.  Police said no charges will be filed.

All lanes of traffic were back open by 7:15 a.m.
