Man arrested in armed store robberies

WARREN COUNTY, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Warren County may have solved a string of convenience store holdups with the recent arrest of a man from McMinnville.

Sheriff Jackie Matheny said Harold Dawson DeLong was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon.

He's accused of holding up Perry's Market on Yager Road and the One Stop Market on Nashville Highway on Tuesday, police said.

Deputies said surveillance photos showed DeLong leaving the One Stop Market in a silver car.

There's no word yet on whether DeLong is linked to any further investigations.
