NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police are still working to unravel a mystery after a woman was found dead early one morning last month on the side of an East Nashville road.

It's believed she may have died after exiting a moving vehicle, and police hope to speak with a cab driver who picked up the woman outside an East Nashville bar.

The cab driver, who was driving a yellow van, is wanted for questioning as detectives gather more information about the woman's whereabouts early Feb. 21. That driver would have been one of the last people to see Livia Rose Smith alive.

"The police department is very concerned that we have not been able to get any closer to identifying this particular cabby," said Metro police spokesman Don Aaron.

Smith, 32, lived close to where her body was discovered in the 2600 block of Barclay Drive just after 5 a.m.

A roommate told police Smith left at 9 p.m. Tuesday to go out with friends.

Anyone with information on what happened to Smith, or the identity of the cab driver, is urged to call police at 615-862-8600.
