A West Tennessee company is upping the ante to get the state fair.
Universal Fairs of Eads, TN, has offered $500,000 to operate the state fair.
The company ran the Delta Fair in Shelby County.
That number is 10 times what the Tennessee State Fair Association bid.
The issue will be decided at the next fair board meeting on Feb. 26.
