MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Five current and former Middle Tennessee State football players are in trouble after they were accused of involvement in a brawl at a Murfreesboro bar.

Officers were called Saturday night to a bar on Main Street after reports of several people fighting.

The night ended with those players in handcuffs and now facing charges.

Police say former player Anthony Amos and current redshirt sophomore Jared Singletary were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Jerrold Frazier is charged with assaulting an officer and resisting a frisk.

Police say Marcus Henry was also being disorderly and tried to evade arrest.

And sophomore Adam Stickel is charged with underage drinking, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

MTSU head football coach Rick Stockstill released a statement, saying, "This is not the reflection of our football program we want at Middle Tennessee, and we will react accordingly after gathering all the information."
