A 16-year-old Henry County boy died Monday when the four-wheeler he was riding left the road and struck a tree.

Steven R. Rushing wrecked about 2 p.m. along Crooked Creek Cemetery Road, about eight miles southeast of Big Sandy in Benton County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The THP said Rushing lost control on loose gravel while making a turn.

The teen was a sophomore at Henry County High School.
