A state probation officer is accused of having sexual contact with a parolee in his office, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Daryell Smith, 63, of Ashland City, TN, was arrested and charged with one count of sexual contact with a parolee/probationer, a felony.
On Jan. 15, the 23rd Judicial District Attorney General asked the TBI to investigate allegations that Smith was having sexual contact with a woman under his supervision.
The TBI received evidence that sex was occurring in Smith's Ashland City office.
Smith was booked into the Cheatham County Jail on $5,000 bond.
