NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro police are investigating after a teenager was shot in the leg Tuesday afternoon in a north Nashville neighborhood.
Officers were called about 3:15 p.m. to the 3400 block of Fawnwood Place, where they found the 17-year-old with a gunshot wound.
Police said witnesses reported hearing three gunshots, and investigators are unsure if the victim and gunman knew each other.
A description of the person suspected of pulling the trigger has not been released.
