The United States Coast Guard said cleaning crews are using a boom to contain fuel leaking from a half sunken tugboat in the Tennessee River near New Johnsonville.
About 500 gallons were contained from the docked vessel at mile marker 100, according to Coast Guard officials.
The tugboat was, according to Coast Guard records, owned and operated by the New Johnsonville Marine Service.
No one was on board at the time of sinking, and the cause of the sinking is under investigation, according to Coast Guard officials.
