COLUMBIA, TN (WSMV) -
Columbia police are examining surveillance photos from a pharmacy robbery for clues, according to investigators.
Lt. Jeremy Alsup said a holdup was reported at around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Holland's Pharmacy on Hatcher Lane.
According to witnesses and employees at the scene, a heavy-set white man wearing a black, toboggan-style hat and sweatshirt with a design of a tomahawk or hatchet and sweat pants held up the store.
Police said the robber demanded narcotics, and managed to get away with a small amount of medication.
While the man left on foot, police said it was not clear whether he used a getaway vehicle or not.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
