A thief escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash after a Wednesday morning bank robbery.
Bowling Green police said the PBI Bank on Fairview Avenue was robbed around 8 a.m.
Employees said a man entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money.
After the teller complied, the thief walked into a neighborhood behind the bank.
The robber is described as a white man who appeared unshaven, 5' 6" to 5' 9", average build, wearing a long, black overcoat, a dark colored pullover sweater, a white button-up collared shirt, black gloves and a black knit hat.
No one was injured during the robbery.
