NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Tennessee drivers are paying more for gas this week than last week, and prices are expected to go even higher as the month goes along.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is now $3.31 in Nashville, according to AAA.
That's more than 15 cents higher than last week.
Experts say the increase is all due to higher crude oil prices, and there are several reasons for that, including a recent positive outlook on the economy, the demand exceeding supply and many refineries undergoing maintenance and preparing to switch to summer-blend fuels.
