A trip home from a Super Bowl party ended with a terrifying attack for a mother and her four children in south Nashville.
The woman said they had just pulled in the driveway and were getting out of the car, walking towards their house, when two men with guns came running up.
Within seconds, they demanded the children to get down on the ground.
"I could do nothing. My eyes jut flashed before my eyes when I saw those men with running towards me with guns. My kids, that's the only thing that was on my mind," said the woman, who asked not to reveal her identity.
The assailants got away with keys to the woman's house and car, along with electronics from inside the home.
They then drove away in a gold 2001-2005 Chevrolet Impala.
Neighbors say Wharton Drive is a dead end street and usually quiet, so now they are looking at creating a neighborhood watch group to help prevent anything else like this from happening again.
No one was hurt, and no arrests have been made.
