NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Paramedics transported a Donelson woman to the hospital with symptoms of smoke inhalation after her apartment caught fire Sunday morning.
Crews responded to the fire at the corner of Andrew Jackson Way and Old Hickory Boulevard around 8 a.m.
Firefighters said it appears the fire began in the kitchen area.
Crews worked quickly to knock down the fire, which was limited to the one apartment.
There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
Fire investigators responded to the scene minutes after the blaze was brought under control.
