HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Hendersonville jewelry store owner was surprised by an unusual heist when he showed up for work.
The robbery was seemingly well planned and executed, and almost a week later, the suspects still haven't been caught.
Forget the front doors, these thieves made their own entry by cutting holes through the roof at Hendersonville Jewelers.
Once inside, they helped themselves to jewelry and cash in the safe. With the alarm disabled, they took their time.
Co-owner Brian Stubblefield said he has no idea how the robbers managed to crack the safe, and now he is concerned about customers who had left their personal jewelry at the store for repairs.
Police are still trying to determine how much cash and jewelry was taken in the robbery.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Hendersonville Police Department.
