More wintry weather is possible this weekend. On Saturday, expect late-morning snow showers changing to rain showers in the afternoon. No accumulation, except along the Cumberland Plateau, where another half-inch to 1" of wet snow could accumulate by the afternoon.

A winter weather advisory has been issued until 6 p.m. Saturday for counties along the Cumberland Plateau. The advisory includes Fentress, Jackson, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Van Buren and White counties.
