(CNN) -- Adult film actor Ron Jeremy was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai on Wednesday and is now out of surgery, CNN's confirmed.
Although his rep initially declined to provide additional details, he told CNN Thursday that Jeremy's second surgery "went smoothly," and that he's "now resting with complete privacy and no visitors."
TMZ reported Wednesday that Jeremy was in critical condition after an aneurysm was found near his heart. Jeremy's manager told the website that the entertainer drove himself to the Los Angeles-area hospital on Tuesday afternoon following severe chest pain.
Adds the performer's rep, "Everyone on Ron's team has expressed well wishes and a speedy recovery!"
CNN's Jane Caffrey and Carolyn Sung contributed to this report.
